Welcome to St Andrew’s

St Andrews is an Anglican church, worshipping God revealed to us in Jesus Christ.  We affirm that the church’s mission, in obedience with Holy Scripture is to proclaim the unfailing love of God in every generation.  We believe this to be Good News for all people.

We are an inclusive church, welcoming all who seek God, regardless of sex, race, age or sexual orientation.

Saint Andrews is of the liberal catholic tradition.  In our worship vestments are worn, incense is used and we have a robed choir of men, women and children.

A sound system is used with loop availability for those who need it.  We are committed to a programme of improvements to make St Andrews’ facilities more accessible to all people.

We welcome children in our worship and activities.  There is an ‘infant’ church for under 7s which meets in the parish Room (at the back of the church) during part of Sunday worship, and a ‘Junior Church’ for 7s to 11s which meets in the vicarage. Children are welcome to stay in the service with parents if they choose to do so.
